Powdery Mildew

Thanks guys. I will try the serenade. The guy at the hydro store said Citrus acid was good for PM as well and a lot of products contain it.

I had great success with sulfur bombing my rooms treating plants is not enough and spore are everywhere .

I have a mild case. First time in 10 years. I'm not messing with it. Had 6 plants in flower.....3 were infected and 3 weren't. I culled the infected plants and spraying the others with a sulfur spray (safer). Running the room as warm as I can get it with 30% humidity. I will harvest and bomb the room. When done I will clean the room with 30% hydrogen peroxide and start over. I am not and none of my friends are gonna smoke PM infected plants.

Don't know how I got it but will file this under "Shit Happens". That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I also used sulfur burner as spores can be everywhere brother .

Warn dry air is the key but not the cure all .

Cost me 3 plants 3 weeks from harvest and a lot of work. Just gotta bite the bullet and move on. I might be walking on thin Ice for a while until I re-supply

I've used h202 watered down, baking soda, and milk. Buttermilk, straight or 50/50 with water has nearly always worked. Even straight 1%. Seems the higher butterfat works better. Dont know the science. Outdoors speaking, keeping them away from dogwood and blackberries is a major plus also. Genetics seem to play a major role as this years monsoons in late flowering affected nothing I had out. My .02

Believe he's out...

A couple home made remedies i sent him were...

Combine one tablespoon baking soda and one-half teaspoon of liquid, non-detergent soap with one gallon of water, and spray the mixture liberally on the plants. Mouthwash. The mouthwash you may use on a daily basis for killing the germs in your mouth can also be effective at killing powdery mildew spore.

PS
If in flower would be very early stage is my guess .

Please sterilize the whole area/equipment/utensils as well no matter what’s used on the plants 🙌

Agreed but always remember that they use sulfur for pm on commercial grapes as well which is why there is so much sulphates in wine etc. Just a thought for when using in something we ingest.

I had an issue a few years ago after multiple floods during a single run. Now after every harvest I bomb the room with overkill prokureG and havent ever seen it since. My room runs very humid this time of year (80%+) and never a speck of PM.

But our ladies love the sulfur in moderation, as it is a trace element that the plant happily excepts.

Just like any Element, if used at the wrong time or at the wrong dosage it will ruin your smoke or hash.

I’ve implemented both sulfur burns and foliar applications with Key to Life’s soluble sulfur Silver Bullet.

I’ve also burned my plants from burning sulfur excessively when trying to knock out pests.

As a reset between runs indoors I like to burn sulfur in my space. Gives me comfort and helps me sleep well at night.

Seems like sulfur is just like anything else. There are lots of options with varying degrees of success depending on timing and dosage but could be a useful tool at times.
